President Carter and a Democratic Congress breathed life into the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 and President Clinton forced additional legislation in 1995 that basically reinfused life into that Act.  These legislative maneuvers that had the blessings of two Democratic presidents were the socialist poison that drove our economy to the brink  recently.  Yes, it took 30+ years to decimate our robust economy with socialist mandates that forced our banking system to create mortgages with little or no hope of repayment.  And it turns out that Obama community organized himself right into the heart of this socialist beast.  He received large dividends from Fanny Mae and saw to it that large numbers of Friends of Carter/Clinton(FOCs) were made wealthy by Fanny Mae's actions.  Regulators brought these improprieties to the attention of  Rep.Barney Frank (Dem-Mass) and Sen. Chris Dodd (Dem-Conn.) a few years ago, but Frank, Rep.Maxine Waters (Dem-CA) and others merely accused the regulators of attacking the system that put low income families in homes for the first time, even though it was apparent that these families could not afford to pay those mortgage payments.  Regulators became fearful that they would be accused of discrimination for forcing banks to "redline" these mortgagees, so they turned with tail between their legs and remained as quiet as possible.  Yes, political correctness and socialism are to blame for our current financial woes.  President Bush warned Congress twice of the impending inequities, but they refused to take him seriously.Now, Pellozi had the audacity to blame Bush and his former Republican Congress for this financial debacle when it was Barney Frank, her cohort, who refused to recognize a fiancial dilemma despite Bush's 2003 warning of this "systemic risk" for the housing market.  Frank argued with Secretary Snow, telling him he was exaggerating the warning,and didn't want "afordable housing" interfered with!   Frank is directly responsible and other Democratic senators and representatives are co-responsible for this disaster.  A careful review of the recent media expose' proves that the Dems are responsible for this debacle, and any Clinton surplus that was used up by Bush was used to correct the damage to our military that Clinton did when he was president. Obama and his cohorst made massive money off of Fanny Mae, and this should be aired by the DBM (drive-by media).
